Occupy Starbucks

Occupy Starbucks (Turkish: Starbucks'ı İşgal Et) is an ongoing student movement at Boğaziçi University, Istanbul. The movement started on the 6th of December as an offshoot of Occupy Wall Street with a protest within the campus, after around 60 students stayed in the store overnight. They blocked the gate, sang and exhibited films to bring attention to expensive stores on campus. Some professors also visited students to show their support.[1][2][3][4][5][6]
